Our main event of 2010 was the Ecotour to Last Mountain Lake, which brought some new members and some “old” members together, revealing an amazing natural resource that is under-appreciated (and underfunded) in Saskatchewan. Other events throughout the year included offering geocaching and other activities at WOW, Earthball activities at the Craik Solar Fair, winter camping at Lumsden, and representation at Ness Creek, Moose Jaw’s SummerFest, and "Bright Wings" at Karen and Trevor Herriot’s acreage. Recently, the Public and Family group has begun exploring snowkiting as a healthy and environmentally friendly outdoor activity for Saskatchewan.
The 2011 Ecotour will be combined with/replaced by the 2011 EECOM Pre-Conference Field Trip to Grasslands National Park/Cypress Hills.
